Extra (Since, 24 February 2020)

After having prepared Part IV I approached Vera's file series with KV 2/14.

This instantly brought me in touch with an entire new file series:

KV 2/17, KV 2/18, KV 2/19 (respectively on Waelti 2/17) and De Deeker (Drueke) on KV 2/18 and KV 19

Followed by a series:

KV 2/20, KV 21, KV 2/22 and KV 2/23

All unknown to me and unexpected findings.

After going through the first series, I is clear that a new "environment series" had been unearthed

It is evident that we should have to deal with some of it.

A brief approach already proves, that what was dealt with before is, in many respect, rubbish!

Consequently, these series have to be approached in a rather comprehensive manner.

KV 2/14 - KV 2/15 - KV 2/16

is enough reason to go for it, seriously!

The latter series only are dedicated to Vera Schalburg and likely other aliases she have exploited.

Hilmar Gustav Johannes Dierks

Since 24 February 2020, I have added a brief survey

on Hilmar Dierks name appearing in

Herbert Wichmann's files

KV 2/103

It is astonishing how frequently Dierk's name appears.

KV /103 Wichmann-Dierks

Also within Ritter's (Dr. Rantzau) files we encounter references on Dierks.

KV 2/85 - KV 2/88

What is so astonishing, is, that Dierks, compared to Ritter and Wichmann was of a minor military rank Oblt. versus Kapitän zur See (Obst.)

Major/Obstlt. Ritter

that even after the end of the war and approx. 5 years had passed since Dierk's death on 2nd  September 1940

that in post war interrogations both men passed on so many references on Dierks acting

I discovered today, 30 January 2020, that the Dierks' family website is on the web again, albeit shortened! Hooray!

It proves to be impossible to get in tough with the one who takes care of the Dierks family website.

I therefore: ask those, who can help me to get in touch with the website owner/webmaster, to contact me at:

Please type in what you read.

Why is this fruitful?

Because on their family website there are apparent errors, which they clearly aren't aware of.

Better photographs of Wälti (Waelti) Werner Heinrich; only the picture is true, his apparent name isn't

What might have been his true credentials?

Photo derived from Waelti  / Wälti's passport of 1937

In my perception: a photo with a more sympathetic face.

                                                       Crown Copyright

Drücke (Druecke)  Karl Theodor (Because simply Theo is rather unusually used for those once baptised, in Germany)

                                                                                                                                                          Crown Copyright

The wireless apparatus, causing the death of both: Drücke and Wälti, were the wireless spy sets of type: SE 92/3

Since: 3 February 2020

We had traced, as a consequence of our Part VIIIa, the Christensen file KV 2/3306

Albeit, that in some respect I feel myself a bit un-easy.

Though, after going through it several times, it might be our only source that throws some new light on the late 1939 environment of Vera.

Already, hinted in some of her wartime interrogations, by her British interrogators; the Christensen's file might throw essential light on: as to how Vera had got in touch with the German Abwehr-X, in Hamburg.

Therefore we have created:
